RESEARCH PROGRAM

Anger

Anger is often considered the ‘forgotten emotion.’ We are studying what happens when anger is experienced at the level and intensity where it causes problems for the individual and interferes with relationships with family, friends, and co-workers. The researchers in our Anger Lab focus on the development of a better understanding of anger, how common it is, the types of impacts that it can have, and how to best intervene and treat people who are experiencing anger.
